Kurt Anders Richardson
Kurt Anders Richardson is an expert is in religious philosophy and comparative monotheism; particularly among the Abrahamic faiths. He received his doctorate at the University of Basel, Switzerland and is a member of the faculties of theology of McMaster University and of the Trinity College, University of Toronto. He is a co-founder of two research groups in the American Academy of Religion: Society for Scriptural Reasoning and Comparative Theology. Professor Richardson is an invited scholar at universities and conferences around the world dealing with the connection between religious faith and the promotion of civil society. His numerous publications center upon the contemporary interpretation and reception of scriptures in religious and cultural life, philosophical anthropology, and religious ethics. His current research is in the areas of Comparative Messianism and Christian theology.
